Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Most of you know that you and your teachers need to have a WWCC but you might not know that there is a legal requirement you may not be doing and can be fined for. As the owner or operator of a dance studio who employs dance teachers to teach children you must register online with the OCG to make sure the WWCC number you are given by your teachers is valid. OCG is currently auditing dance studios about this requirement. It is a simple process involving completing a form and then inputting data about your teachers. Check out the information here

Letters of Support

Ausdance NSW is pleased to provide letters of support to all of our members.

Most letters of support are required when applying for grants or funding. If you require a letter for something else, please let us know the details and we’ll see if we can help.

If you would like Ausdance NSW to provide you with a letter of support please contact the Ausdance NSW office. If you would like to talk about your application before submitting it don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please remember the following when applying;

You must be an Ausdance NSW member
Allow 7 business days for us to write your letter and get it back to you (we won’t accept last-minute requests)
We appreciate if you send us a draft letter (this is standard industry practice)
