Critical Path

The Interchange festival brings together short dance works, a forum and the sharing of new ideas by over 20 national and international choreographers and interdisciplinary artists. Interchange Festival will take place on 13-15 November at our home at the Drill, 1C New Beach Rd, Rushcutters Bay.

 

PERFORMANCE: FACETS 2015
Friday 13 November, 7-9 pm

Short works by international artists Hemabharathy Palani (India) Trikonanga and Soo Hyun Hwang (Korea) For It to End alongside Lucky Lartey (NSW) solo embodying the speeches of Nelson Mandela Long Walk; all developed at FACETS lab in India (Attakkalari). Hemabharathy and Lucky will also share their FACETS residency in Sydney.

 

SHARING: MONSOON AUSTRALIA
Saturday 14 November, 7-9pm

Nine artists from Asia, Europe and Australia present their ideas, experiences and collaborations fresh from a 2-week residency at the Bundanon Trust. Curated by Arco Renz, Margie Medlin and David Pledger.

 

FORUM: SPEAK LOCAL
Sunday 15 November , 5-9pm (including 5$ dinner)

Explore intercultural exchange - twelve NSW connected artists present their work in an informal setting and engage in debate. Curated by Annalouise Paul and Margie Medlin.
